The first grade Tiger Cubs from St. Roch spent the evening of Monday, May 8th learning about gardening while providing a community service to the neighborhood.
The boys (along with their parents and siblings) pitched in to help with weeding, mulching, reseeding of grass, and flower planting at the playground and at Greg Freeman Park (aka Four Corners’).
The Tiger Cub project was coordinated with Andy Cross of the Skinker-DeBaliviere Beautification Committee.
All of the boys worked hard and had a great time. Their efforts were rewarded with a pizza dinner for all to enjoy!
