Rosedale Neighborhood Association Needs You

Historical Summer 2005 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Arline Webb, Vice President of the Rosedale Neighborhood Association, has announced a date and time for the annual meeting and election of officers.

On Friday, June 17, 2005, the organization will hold a brief meeting at 6:30 p.m. at New Cote Brilliante Church, Skinker at Washington. Due to the resignation and move of Tim Schoemehl, who was President of the organization for three years, the group needs to elect a new president. Anyone who lives in the area between Skinker and Rosedale, from Washington to Pershing, is eligible to serve as an officer. Nominations will be taken from the floor, and interested parties may wish to contact one of the current officers prior to the meeting.

Call VP Arline Webb at 726-2470, or contact Paul Hohman, SDCC representative, Laura Doyle, Secretary, or Mary Ann Rudloff, Treasurer.

Another agenda item is soliciting ideas for use of funds in the Treasury. Ideas that have been advanced include a bench in the community garden and/or the playground. Other ideas are welcome! Copies of the Rosedale by-laws and mission statement will be available at the June 17 meeting. Stop by and learn about your neighborhood organization before you head off to the Dinners on Delmar!
