Approximately 25 residents and well-wishers attended a ceremony on Sunday June 29 to dedicate a new fountain in Kingsbury Square Park to the honor of retired 26th Ward Alderman and Kingsbury Square resident Irving Clay (right in photo). Alderman Clay and his wife Evelyn attended the ceremony, as did newly elected 26th Ward Alderman Frank Williamson, Jr. (left) and Joe Kuss (center), of the City’s Board of Public Service, which oversaw construction.

The fountain has been installed in the center of Kingsbury Square Park and was designed to incorporate the Kingsbury Square seal that had been at the center of the park.
