Historical Fall 2003 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Nancy Farmer began her career in St. Louis as the Executive Director of the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council.

She served in that post for over 7 years and is remembered for her involvement in many, many community activities.

In 1992, she was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives and was reelected twice without opposition.

She left the House to serve briefly as Intergovernmental Liaison at City Hall in 1997.

In November of that year, she was named Deputy Treasurer of Missouri.

She went on to be elected Treasurer in 2000.

She took some of her old pals a bit aback by announcing a few weeks ago that she would seek the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senator, and, if successful, would go on to challenge incumbent Republican Kit Bond. Farmer is a proven campaigner and it will be an interesting race. And, it all began at 6010 Kingsbury!
