Friends Campaign

February–March 2003

Historical February–March 2003 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

To date, the 2002 Friends of Skinker DeBaliviere fundraising campaign has raised $5,724, well within site of the 2002 goal of $6,000.

We thank our campaign chairman, Linda Cross, for her leadership, and we salute each of you for your willingness to support the SDCC.

While every effort has been made to record and acknowledge each contribution, things do go astray.

We ask all of you to accept our sincere thanks for your support of the work of the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council, and remind you that the office is here to serve you, the residents of this wonderful neighborhood.

Please feel free to drop by – for a cup of coffee, to find out the answer to a troublesome question, or to learn who might help you solve a particularly vexing problem. And remember, much of the work that we do here is accomplished by volunteers, busy people who somehow find time to deliver flyers, attend planning meetings, and help run special events.

They are dynamic, enthusiastic folks – and you might consider becoming one of them. Not sure how to start?

Call 862-5122, or come to the next regular board meeting, always the second Monday of the month.
