We definitely want to thank Andy Cross and Dave Schmidt for their wonderful pictures taken during the annual Garden Tour.
There were some charming family portraits, as well as some great gardening shots, and we were delighted to have space for many of them. Thanks to all our neighborly gardeners and photographers! Congratulations to Jaina and Paul Stuss of the 6100 block of Westminster, who welcomed their first child, Parker Gerome on October 2, 2002. Jaina, as well as her mom and sister, were honored guests at a baby shower hosted by Westminster neighbor Linda Nocliff, Robyn Nagle, and Mary Powell. Great food and drink and a leisurely stroll down memory lane for many was greatly enhanced by the participation of Linda Nodiff’s delightful teenager, Monica, and Robyn’s lovely and helpful daughter, Maggie. News should be coming soon from ”down under”, as recent college graduate John McGuire left for Australia last month. Parents Dan and Jill McGuire are adventurers, too, but John is taking things to a new level with this trip! Did you know that the Riverfront Times Best of St. Louis Awards recently named Delmar Restaurant and Lounge the area’s Best Jazz Club and The Pageant the Best Rock & Roll Club in St. Louis?
The Loop was named Best Shopping District and Best Place to People Watch.
