Historical November–December 2002 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

For over thirty years now, this neighborhood party has been a Skinker DeBaliviere tradition. Art Santen, the Rosedale Neighbors Ghosts and Goblins Committee, with assistance from ‘Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council, continue to provide a special start to our youngest residents’ Halloween festivities. Children and their parents were welcomed to the St. Roch gymnasium. For the next hour, a clown, a costume judging and competition, and other surprises awaited the children. Trick or treating commenced as always at 6:30 p.m. immediately following the party. Special judges looked for originality, creativity and sometimes even cuteness as they completed the difficult task of choosing 10 winners. Due to our deadline for this issue, winners will appear in an upcoming issue. Special thanks to St. Roch for finding room in their very busy gymnasium schedule to annually host the party.
