February 1998

Successful committee work is the backbone for any organization’s progress, and for a neighborhood organization like the Council this is especially true.

If you are interested in knowing more about the Council and how you can get involved, consider becoming a block captain, or teaming up with your current block captain; joining a committee such as Beautification, Social Services, Housing, Recreation or the Playground Committee, or an issue-orient ad hoc committee like the MetroLink Advisory Committee. Interested in working on a special event? Operation BrightSide is just around the corner and National Night Out will be here before you know it. Take time to stop by the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council Office and learn more about how you can get involved or call 862-5122.
