The Skinker DeBaliviere Community Housing Corporation is pleased to announce that they have sold 6045 Washington to Lila and Chris Manzo.
The Manzo’s are not new to the neighborhood, but have been renting in the 5900 block of Waterman for the past 2 years. Previously they lived on the 6000 block of Pershing.
They have been active neighbors in establishing the McPherson Community Gardens. Their daughter Marie recently began pre-school at St. Roch.
This is a nice two-story fourplex apartment Building that the Manzo’s will be rehabbing into a two-story townhouse with two apartments.
The first stage of rehab “Cleaning Out” began on the weekend of October 24th. Watch for Chris and Lila and welcome them as new owners to the neighborhood.
From time to time SDCHC has other property for sale to an owner-occupier with a rehab plan that will decrease density of the building.
This is in keeping with the Housing Corporation’s goals in the neighborhood.
