Historical September 1996 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Vivi Wolf is the new Neighborhood Stabilization Officer (NSO) for Skinker DeBaliviere and DeBaliviere Place.

She replaces Jacqueline Wellington who resigned in May to take a job with the St. Louis County Economic Development Council. Wolf began her new position in mid-June.

She feels very fortunate to be assigned to our neighborhood.

It is already so organized and has so many interested residents.

Her goal is to further the efforts already being made here.

She said that, “I will never forget that I work for the residents and will always be accessible to provide their link to city government.” Wolf is no stranger to our area.

She grew up in the Central West End and has lived around here for most of her life.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

In 1986, she married and she and her husband moved to Washington, D.C. There, she worked at the George Washington University Hospital and received a master’s degree in Public Administration from George Washington.

The Wolfs returned to St. Louis right after the flood and Vivi did case management flood relief work until becoming our NSO.

The Wolfs now live in Dogtown and have two sons. Wolf can be reached at 454- 9749.

Her phone has an answering machine if she is not at her desk.

Please call her about any problems you are experiencing with city services or any safety concerns.
