Rosedale Neighborhood Association once again is sponsoring our neighborhood-wide yard sale on Saturday, September 21. Julie Schoemehl is coordinating this event, aided by Rosedale Neighborhood Association President Jane Geiler.
In keeping with recent tradition, this is also the date of the balloon race in Forest Park. Everyone in our entire neighborhood—from Skinker to DeBaliviere—is urged to participate. Get rid of all that accumulated junk and help the neighborhood!
Residents interested in participating should call the SDCC office, 862-5122, and register.
The deadline for registration is September 18.
The cost is $10 ($15 on the 21st).
This sale will be advertised In the newspapers and maps showing where the sales are will be available in the Kingsbury Animal Hospital parking lot. Visitors and residents alike should also visit the animal hospital lot to enjoy the bake sale and luncheon fare available.
For reasonable prices, there will be homemade baked specialties, including hopefully the world famous Urban Guerrilla Cookies along with coffee and soda. Luncheon fare will be a little more substantial. Refreshments will be available from 8am until 3pm—the hours of the sale.
If you would like to help out by baking or by working behind the counter for an hour or two, please call Julie Schoemehl.
