SDCC Director Laure Porterfield announces a new service available to neighborhood residents who come by the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council office at 6008 Kingsbury. Effective September 5, a Book Exchange is available in the front office. How does it work? Bring a book with you to the office, and exchange it for one that you find on our book shelf. Donations of gently used paperback as well as hard-bound books are appreciated. Hats off to Mary Brown, 5903 DeGiverville, who has many good ideas and, we hope, will continue to share them.
