There have been two significant changes to the exterior of New City School this summer.
The school, located at 5209 Waterman, has begun to build, a 25- space parking lot immediately to the west of its building. School Director Thomas Hoerr hopes that the lot and diagonal parking in front of the school will ease some of the parking difficulties in the immediate area. New City has also been able to create a long, connected piece of land west of the school which will greatly enhance play space. New City is expecting a capacity enrollment of 360 students this fall from over 45 zip codes. Their program emphasizes academics, ambience, and diversity.
