For the second year in a row, Rosedale Neighbors sponsored a giant block party for the entire neighborhood.
This year on Tuesday, August 2, many residents of Skinker DeBaliviere came to Four Corners to enjoy refreshments and to meet old and new friends. Youth Cycle participants also helped to staff the event. Anheuser-Busch donated beverages and St. Roch’s allowed us to use their grill. Many followed their hot dog with a chocolate or vanilla ice cream cone. • The 5900 McPherson block unit went into the ice cream business much to everyone’s joy.
All the while, a band performed and many pulled up lawn chairs to listen.
