The Rosedale Neighborhood Association has planned an event-filled summer and fall.

The planned activities, as shown on the Rosedale Neighborhood Association Timeline, include a neighborhood-wide food drive, bingo, Rags to Riches, and a street party. One of the major events on the neighborhood agenda is the street party, currently planned for National Night Out on the evening of Tuesday, August 3rd.

The goal of the street party is to bring together the diverse members of the neighborhood for an evening of good music, good food and good times. Because we arc hosting the event on National Night Out, bringing the neighborhood together will also allow us to compete for prizes to benefit the community.

We will provide neighborhood citizens with more information on the party in the near future.

For now, we look forward to seeing everyone on the evening of Tuesday, August 3rd.

Another main event on the agenda is the annual Rags to Riches year sale extravaganza.

This event is planned for Saturday, September 18th. Applications for participation will appear in the Times of Skinker-DeBaliviere or will be available at the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council office.

For those of you not planning to participate in the yard sale, the Rosedale Neighborhood Association is always looking for good volunteers to work with us on the barbecue. Begin organizing your furniture. plants, clothing, housewares, toys and bric-a-brac for this event!
