To Businesspersons in the Community: My name is Linda Emerson, and I was recently hired as Breitmayer Community Minister at Grace United Methodist Church. located at the corner of Waterman and Skinker.
The Breitmayer Ministry is currently developing a program for a job referral service for unemployed people in the community.
There are many problems present in the community right now, and unemployment is one we have chosen to attack first.
We feel that people and businesses in the community can help us and also receive benefits through a strengthened community. That is why we are contacting you.
There are several things that you can do to help us: I. Notify us whenever you have or know of any job openings, so that we may refer people to you to apply for the position. 2. Share your expertise.
We will be setting up various training sessions for our applicants.
There will be a need for people of various professions to instruct the sessions. Would you or someone in your business be able to help with a one-day seminar? 3. Make a donation.
We are in need of funding for our program. Would your business be able to help?
These are ways in which businesses that are supported by the community can give something back to the community.
If we can be of any service to you, don’t hesitate to call us. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
