Put yourself in the holiday spirit and get started on your shopping at the Fifth Annual St. Roch’s Christmas Bazaar.
The bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 13, from noon till 2 p.m. in the Church Hall at Waterman and Rosedale.
The bazaar features all kinds of handmade items from holiday decorations, wreaths and ornaments to special gift items, afghans, baby clothes and sweatshirts, just to name a few.
A number of area crafters and merchants will be renting booths with a variety of wares for all kinds of shoppers.
There will even be educational toys to order in time for Christmas morning. Homemade baked goods can be purchased for eating now or freezing for the holidays. Homemade candies are great for gift-giving.
This year the School Association’s Book Sale will be held in the Church Hall with the Bazaar to offer even more convenience for shoppers.
A special part of the St. Roch’s Bazaar each year is the “For Children Only” booth. Small, specially chosen gifts, will be available for $1 or less, which children can purchase for family members or friends. Special Christmas helpers will be on hand to help the children make their selection. Santa Claus will be available for listening to Christmas lists on Saturday from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. You can even have you child’s picture taken with Santa.
A light breakfast and lunch menu will be offered on both days for shoppers who need a little refreshment or for friends who might like to sit and chat over a coke. Proceeds from the Bazaar will go to support the activities of the Women of St. Roch, an organization of parish women dedicated to raising funds and providing resources to meet parish needs.
