On Friday, February 13, The Times of Skinker-DeBaliviere will again sponsor a Chocolate Chip Cookie Bake-Off as well as an Un-Chocolate Cookie Contest.
Everyone is invited to participate. First come to sample the entries and make a small donation toward the continuing publication of The Times. Second, get involved and submit three dozen cookies for either one (or both!) of the contests. Now, while you are deciding which kinds of Christmas cookies you are going to bake, or while you are sampling recipes at friends’ homes over the holidays, is the time to begin planning to amaze our judges with your culinary capabilities.
So mark your calendar for February 13 and plan to be there. Details will follow in the February issue of The Times; due on your doorstep on February 1. (Information about becoming a judge appears elsewhere in this issue.)
