St. Roch’s Over-Thirty Softball Team Ends Its Season

September 1984

From The Times Archives · Originally published September 1984

Historical September 1984 report or notice. Original dates, prices and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

August 31 marked the end of the season for the St-Roch’s-Over-Thirty Softball Team.

While they were not undefeated (no one really kept score), a good time was had by all. Next year those neighborhood ball players who enjoy softball, drinking beer, and playing in all weather will be doing it once again. So, for those of you who thought life ended at thirty, think again.
