The Candidates Speak — Fred Faust, Jr.

June 1984

I have withdrawn as a candidate for Democratic Committeeman of the 28th Ward in the August 1984 primary. I will remain active in local Democratic politics.

My company is presently involved in a major expansion.

This places unusual demands on my time and resources.

In reviewing my priorities, I feel that it’s best to remove my name from the ballot at this time.

In addition, the tenor of this campaign has changed dramatically since I first announced early last fall. I am grateful to the people who support me, and I look forward to working on future issues and campaigns of concern to the Central West End.
