The Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council and the Hamilton Community School are co-sponsoring a Senior Citizen Resource Meeting to be held at the Hamilton School, 5819 Westminster Place, on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss available resources in the community for senior citizens and how government cutbacks might affect them., Representatives from various government agencies, private firms, and community groups will discuss their efforts to assist senior citizens residing in this area of the city. Refreshments will be served and transportation to and from the meeting will be available to senior citizens unable to arrange for their own transportation.
