Once again the Four Corners for Four Evenings program was a success. People from all around came to the Four Corners square to enjoy the performances of the David Hines Jazz Ensemble, Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes, the St. Louis String Ensemble and the Cedar Hill Grass Band.

Each performance was well received and appreciated by everyone.

The David Hines Jazz Ensemble was a newsworthy performance as all late night people could see on the KTVI Channel 2 Late Night Edition of the Conners and Kidd news program. Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes was a big hit with the children and adults alike.

The St. Louis String Ensemble and the Cedar Hill Grass performed to classical and blue grass music lovers.

The Four Corners for Four Evenings program was sponsored by the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council and the West End Neighborhood Arts Council. Financial assistance was provided by the Missouri Arts Council, The St. Louis Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Pantheon Corporation, Commerce Bank of University City and the Central West End Savings and Loan Association. Publicity was provided by the Eller Outdoor Advertising Company of St. Louis and Hasler Public Relations.
