April 1981

Historical April 1981 health-screening notice. Procedures, prices, eligibility and contact information refer to that period and are not current medical-service guidance.

Health Fair ’81 is designed to provide health screening and education to all residents of the St. Louis metropolitan area: Locally sponsored by the American Red Cross, Blue Cross and KSDK Channel Five, it is held in co-operation with the National Health Screening Council. Health Fair ’81 is a community project which stresses the importance of preventative health care and is designed to alert individuals to possible medical problems.

The People’s Clinic, located at 6010 Kingsbury, has been chosen as one of the screening sites on Wednesday, April 8 from 11:30 – 5:30.

Tests, including blood pressure, vision and dental, are all free with the exception of a $6 Blood Chemistry Test, which is optional.
