As a result of our most successful newspaper drive ever, Rosedale Neighbors Assoc. will again be planting trees this year. The officers of Rosedale would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make it such a success: all those who threw papers on a cold December morning, Ken and Nancy Cohen who procured the truck and all those who contributed their ‘old newspapers.
We would especially like to thank the Stouts of 6100 McPherson, Rita Sweets of 6100 Westminister and Paul’s Books of Delmar whose contributions assured the success of the drive.
In keeping with past policy the proceeds from the drive ($150) will be used to plant trees in the neighborhood, Anyone who would like a tree planted in front of their house, between the sidewalk and the curb, should call Roy Bell at 727-4105 before March 10. We are limited in the number of trees we can plant so it will be on a first come, first served basis.
