As was reported earlier in the year, the Hamilton School is a part of a Diagnostic Prescriptive Program in the area of Reading. Pupils were tested after the beginning of the school year and the results along with the prescriptions were returned the week of January 8, 1979. The computer printouts contained detailed information on pupils’ needs and strengths. Materials which were purchased to support, the prescriptions for the students have been issued and teachers who are involved in the project are busy arranging their classes so that the additional work required can begin. Those interested in getting glimpse of this project should drop by the school and we will be happy to show you the various aspects of the program.
