The Wind

March 1978

From the Neighborhood School writers’ corner in The Paper, March 1978. Original student wording, names and printed age information are preserved.

I love the wind and I love it’s sound.

It sounds as though it comes from the

ground.

The wind sounds as though it whispers

through the trees,

Or it sounds like a singing little breeze.

The wind has such a sensational sound.

It really just comes fromthe ground.
