The October meeting of the SkinkerDeBaliviere Community Council was held on October 10. The main topic of this meeting was the Educational Issues Seminars to be held at Grace and Peace Fellowship on Kingsbury at Des Peres on Oct. 24, Nov. 7, and Dec. 5 at 7:30 PM.
The purpose of these three meetings will be to take a close look at our school system, both public and private, particularly in this neighborhood.
All teachers and residents are invited, whether or not they have children in school. Schools are a very important and necessary element in neighborhood growth, and we would certainly like to see a good turn-out.
By the time this article goes to press, the first meeting will be over, but feel free to come to the second or third or both.
