Scout News — Senior Girl Scout Troop 2886

November 1977

SENIOR GIRL SCOUT TROOP 2886 Cooking being “out thing” the girls are compiling successful recipes for their own use. Our “Food for Fifty” recipes are frequently given by weight so in addition to reducing from numbers (as 50 pork chops) we must also calculate pounds and ounces into cups and tablespoons, etc. Having prepared and served dinners on Oct. 1, Oct. 11 and a breakfast on Oct. 15, the girls are more than ready to get into Scouting on the program aide level and begin investigation of the Council, National & International level wider opportunities.

Beth Bender went camping with a younger troop.
