New Year’s Eve Party in the Planning

Original cartoon accompanying the neighborhood New Year’s Eve party announcement.

Batten down the hatches, cover the bee’s knees, and get ready to tip your canoe (Tyler’s too). Now, from those same wonderful folks who brought you the Prom, it’s the “Neighborhood New Year’s Party!” That’s right, fun, frolic, frivolity, and frizbees. (Well, actually there aren’t any frizbees, but is sounds good.)

Anyway, the Neighborhood New Year’s Party (open to all neighborhooders and their friends) will be held in Scariot Hall on December 31 (clever!) from 9:30 PM until ??? Music will be provided by the now-infamous “Now ‘N Then” (our Prom band). But get this, are you ready? The “Now ‘N Then” is planning on adding an organ to the band! (No comment.) Tickets will be $6.00 per person and hero sandwiches and snax will be provided. The tickets should be available at the Dinner Theatre or through Jo Ann Vatcha or Tom Hoerr. More info will be forthcoming, this phlash is just to enable you to clear your calendar so’s you can join us for an evening of fun, frolic, frivolity, and, would you believe, frizbees?
