Community Service

Proposed Medical Supply Co-op

October 1977

Historical October 1977 community material. Original health claims, services, prices and contact information describe the period, not current guidance or verified present-day availability.

The People’s Clinic would like to know if there is any interest among its members for discount medical supplies. By buying in bulk as an organization we get up to 15% off. In addition we can buy without the 5% sales tax because we are a non-profit organization. The types of medical supplies we could get cover any of those you would be getting from the drugstore now except medications. (e.g. dressing, diabetic syringes, blood pressure kits.) This could also include big items like wheelchairs. For legal reasons this service would be available only to members of the clinic. Let us know if you’re interested.
