Historical October 1977 report on Fannie Mae’s experimental neighborhood program, not a present-day mortgage offer.
Max Robinson, program manager for the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA or Fannie Mae), announced that the 5800 and 5900 DeGiverville and the 5800 Westminster blocks will be included in the experimental loan program now under way in Skinker-DeBaliviere. Originally these blocks were excluded and the homeowners felt they had been isolated from the rest of the neighborhood. The neighborhood leaders from this area convinced FNMA that they are stable, viable streets and deserving of support.
