Scout News — Cub Pack 31

By Betty Klinefelter

The boys are busy preparing for the Scout Skill Show Nov. 22. They are still busy selling tickets for the event —$1 ticket admits one adult or two children — the best buy in town! John Brown, Conan McPherron and Derrick Stevens have sold 12 tickets and so have earned for themselves the Funburger, tie slide, Funmeal and a neckerchief. Danny Shea, Jeff Bowers, Martun Cross & Chris Mudd have only a few more to sell to reach the goal —and the rest of the boys are still trying. Help out!

John Mudd (the younger) is the new Webelos Den Leader and the 10 year old Cubs meet with him at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the Scout Room at Grace Church. The Webelos are Chris Mudd, Philip McEneny, Derrick Stevens, Nolan Sanders, Scott Bowers and Robert Waskow. It was their idea that our woodworking booth have a colonial home model. The boys are now busy making furniture copies of 1776 furniture.
