The Skinker-DeBaliviere Historic District Committee will meet October 6th at 8:00 p.m. at the Community Council Office. Composed of members of the Parkview, Rosedale, and Washington Heights historic district committees, the area-wide committee will meet to discuss developmental suggestions devised over the summer for the proposed Historic District area. All three groups have completed their landuse maps and the master map will be prepared from these. Once developmental plans are agreed upon, committee representatives will meet with the City’s Community Development Agency to coordinate planning for all of our area and to discuss their suggestions for inclusions in our historic district bill.
Setting of standards for the SkinkerDeBaliviere Historic District will begin in the over-all committee and be presented to Skinker-DeBaliviere residents later in the year.
Anyone interested in joining the Skinker-DeBaliviere Historic District Committee should call Sue Tepas (862- 3783) or attend the October 6th meeting. Every resident is welcome to join us in our work.
