Women’s Crusade Expands Court Information Services

June 1975

The Women’s Crusade Against Crime has opened a second Court Information Desk in the Municipal Courts Building, 1320 Market St. This one, located on the Third Floor, is directed primarily to serving witnesses, according to Mrs. Parker, Burns and Mrs. Robert Fetch, co-chairmen of the Crusade’s Courts Committee. The Crusade opened its first Court Information Desk early last year. It handles an average of 500 inquiries a day, with over 2,000 having been recorded in one single day. It is widely credited by court officials for making citizen appearances in court an easier .experience. • •
