Thanks for the Pancake Breakfast

We at The Paper are deeply indebted to Joe Lange, who produced, directed and labored at The Third Annual Pancake Breakfast, which benefits The Paper. Not only did he make all the arrangements, but he also contacted some of our advertisers who generously underwrote the cost of the Breakfast. (Those who contributed are Alexander and Sons Mortuary, Colonial Rug Co., Delmar Cleaners, Fitzpatrick Pharmacy, and J-R Motorite, Inc. Our sincere thanks go to them for loyalty above and beyond.) During the Breakfast on May 11, 1975, Joe was energetically assisted by Sam and Lu Green, Rich Lake, Susie Roach, Steve Vossmeyer, and Marj Weir. There was a good crowd of energetic pancake eaters without whom all work would have been for nought. To all we are very grateful. Our gratitude also goes in large quantities to Washington Heights Neighbors for a gift of $100.00 from the profits of the WHN Plant Sale and the WHN Barbecue. Where would we be without all of you?
