The children in Room 203 at the Hamilton Branch III School honored their mothers with a Mother’s Day Reception on Friday, May 9. Nearly 25 mothers and special guests attended. As each guest entered she was presented with a carnation by a hostess. The afternoon’s entertainment included a skit titled “The King and Queen Who Wouldn’t Speak.” Several children shared stories they had written. The theme of these stories was “What My Mother Means to Me.” Refreshments were served and each mother was presented with a gift before leaving.
