RNA Thespians Receive Rave Reviews

The very-far-Off-Broadway production of “The Fastest Thimble in the West” was warmly received last November 16 by an enthusiastic and demonstrative audience of nearly 200, who gave the cast a standing ovation. The musical melodrama graced the boards at Grace Methodist Church following a potluck dinner at St. Roch’s Scariot Hall.

After the final curtain, most of the audience returned to St. Roch’s to continue the party until the smaller hours of the morning.

The evening was planned as a fund-raiser for the projects of RNA and was successful as such, but its greatest triumph was the good time shared by those attending.

Special thanks for making the evening a success must go to the kitchen managers, headed by Dave Schmidt; the kitchen police, headed by Lou Green; the Far West End Dead No Name No Count Players and crew, directed by Rita Sweets and managed by Cherie McKee; the program designer, Bob Moore of McGraphics; and the best audience in the world.
