ACTIVITY: To recruit vibrant, enthusiastic women to cheer on to victory, the 28th Ward Slow Pitch Softball team. They need it–recent scores: Fraternal Alumni 24 28th Ward 2 Northside Gorillas 18 28th Ward 2
PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet following requirements:
1) enthusiastic about pompomming and cheering the team on to victory,
2) general physical deportment that would elicit spectator response epitomized by the old song – title “It Must Be Jam Cause Jelly Don’t Shake Like That.”
3) general behavioral deportment during the games that will tend to develop respect and recognition for the 28th Ward All-Stars and its distinguished members.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Pom Pom candidates and those eventually selected for Pom Pom Girls must provide proper fitting, modestly cut bikini swim suits that will evoke a modest interest on the part of spectators, Pom Poms will be furnished by the sponsor.
TIME AND PLACE OF TRYOUTS: Home of Joe Mestres, sponsor, 6106 Kingsbury Ave. 7 p.m.
