An April 18th meeting of the Rosedale Neighborhood Association Executive Comm. resulted in a $1600 budget for the 1974-75 fiscal year. The budget was established to reflect the goals of the organization which the committee feels are essential to the growth and well-being of the neighborhood.
Items in the budget include contributions to the Paper and the Clinic. Monies are provided for trash clean up and alley maintenance as well as planting of trees. RNA has been asked to contribute toward replacement of a movie projector stolen from the library earlier this year. Payment of a debt to the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council is included in the budget as well as a modest amount for operating expenses.
Approximate figures are listed below. Details of the budget will be discussed at the annual supper meeting June 1st.
Debt (SDCC) — $250.00
The Paper — $200.00
People’s Clinic — $200.00
Trees — $300.00
Alley Clean Up — $350.00
Library Projector — $100.00
Operating Expenses — $200.00
Total — $1600.00
Obviously, the Association will need the aid of every member to attain these goals. Dues will be collected within the next few weeks and the Men’s Liberation cake sale will once again be held in conjunction with the Art Fair. We ask each member to pay his dues when requested and to work if asked. We believe everyone who lives in the neighborhood should do every- ‘ thing he can to aid the growth of the “neighborhood.” The officers of Rosedale Neighborhood Association will be working to meet the goals set forth in the budget. We ask other members to do the same.
