Men’s Lib Cake Sale

May 1974

Cartoon baker in the original Men’s Lib Cake Sale notice.

The Skinker-DeBaliviere Art Fair will once again be graced with the sweet aroma of the Men’s Lib Cake Sale.

Any male who can bake a cake or talk someone into it is eligible to participate. All kinds of cakes are needed. Last year’s cakes were sold out by mid-afternoon.

Please bring your cake to Joe Lange’s house, 6175 Kingsbury, on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. (Perhaps your wife can drop it off while you are watching the ball game.)

There is also a great need for volunteers to donate an hour or two of their time on Sunday to help sell the cakes. Please call Paul Brammeier, 725-0115, if you can help.

Proceeds go to the Rosedale Neighborhood Association.
