Members of the congregation of the Delmar Baptist Church, Washington and Skinker, voted unanimously on Wednesday evening, January 16, to extend a call to the Reverend Marcus C. Pomeroy, presently Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Highland, Illinois, to become the Associate Minister at Delmar, according to an official announcement made this week by Dr. Max W. Morgan, Delmar’s Senior Minister.
Mr. Pomeroy is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and the Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and has been in his present work in Highland for nearly five years.
He and his wife and two sons plan to move to St. Louis around the 15th of March, when he will assume his new responsibilities.
