Scouts — Cub Pack 31 Genius Night

December 1973

By John McEney (as printed)

Cub Pack 31. “Genius Night” was a success and we really had geniuses. The judges had a hard time deciding the best projects.

First place went to Andrew Cross, second to Phillip McEneny and third to Kennett Johnson.

Other boys who received ribbons and prizes were Richard Andre, Scott Bowers, Tommy Christopher, Chris Mudd and Chris Sullivan.

The theme for December is “Customs of Countries.”

At the December Pack meeting, Thursday, December 20, the boys will present skits showing these customs.

They decided to continue the goodwill project of bringing food for the “emergency kitchen” set up by the Metro Ministry.

Parents are asked to save an hour on the 20th to come with their son and family to the Pack Meeting.

One hour isn’t too much to give your son at this busy season.

What is the season all about if not to do things with your children?
