In celebrating The Paper’s birthday, and thanking our workers, advertisers and distributors, a special thanks should certainly go to Washington University. When you go through back issues it is amazing to see how many neighborhood projects have quietly been helped along by the University. The loans of personnel, equipment, space, advice, add up to quite a long list. So many thanks to the University Board, which supplies more than half the operating expenses of the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council, and to the many Washington University people who have contributed time and effort to neighborhood projects.
