The enthusiastic reception of the “Something for Summer” and “Something for Winter” programs sponsored by Grace and Peace Fellowship Church has decided this group to offer further programs in the area. Ms. Arlene Itzi reported to the SDCC Board that they want to supplement not duplicate existing programs. Board members welcomed their interest and Ms. Itzi volunteered help with the other programs. Her suggestion that Grace and Peace Fellowship provide some camping experience for neighborhood young people should provide a unique element in the neighborhood summer activities. Further plans will be announced in May.
