In response to reports of cutbacks and closings in the St. Louis parochial school system, a spokesman for St. Roch’s school commented that the changes would not affect St. Roch’s School, which expects to operate a full eight grades plus kindergarten for 1972-73.
(There is some discussion of a possible community kindergarten sponsored jointly by the three major churches in the area but this is in the very early stages.)
Present policy is that where space is available qualified students will be accepted at St. Roch’s on a tuition-paying basis. Questions concerning enrollment should be directed to the principal, Sister Leo Ann, PA 1-2595, at the earliest possible date since many arrangements for the fall term must be completed by April.
