DELMAR BAPTIST – Regular schedule: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m., children’s choir, 9:15 a.m., worship service, 11:00 a.m. (nursery available). On Wednesdays a family dinner is held at 6:30 p.m., $1.25 and $0.50, reservations needed. Choir practice is at 7:30 p.m. Pre-school is open. Forty children are enrolled. An October retreat is planned for young married couples.
GRACE METHODIST – The Grace pre-school is now in session. Openings are still available. The Methodist men’s dinner will be held Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. For reservations call the church office.
ST. ROCH’S – Parish religious education classes are held for grades 1-7 Sundays.
Oct. events: Oct. 4, 8:00 p.m., women’s gym reopens; Oct. 14, 8:00 p.m. bridge night, large assembly room; Oct. 26, 8:00 p.m. preparing for Christ, marriage series begins.
ADULT HALLOWEEN PARTY – A neighborhood Halloween Party will be held Oct. 30 at 9:00 p.m. at St. Roch’s. Admission is $2.50 each. Prizes will be given for the best costumes. Set ups and music for dancing. A midnight supper will be served. For reservations call Susie Roach, 862-5893.
