Find that strapless dress, brush off that now-undersized tuxedo, and start bleaching those old white socks…it’s PROM TIME: That’s right, start making preparations now for the 1st ANNUAL (?) OLD TIMERS PROM!!! Yep, all kidding aside, we will be having a neighborhood prom (minimum age 21) this June, with proceeds going to “The Paper.” Everyone’s invited, the only stipulation is, that you must come in an outfit similar to one popular in your heyday. (Well, try to, anyway!) We’ll have more details in the next issues of “The Paper,” we just wanted to give you guys a head start so you could have a chance to start pricing corsages, and you girls a head start so you could start working on rounding up those votes for Queen…
