Vincent C. Schoemehl Jr., the 28th ward’s young Democratic alderman, has decided to seek a second term. He was originally chosen in a special election in October 1975 to fill an unexpired term. As The Paper goes to press no other candidates have filed on either the Democratic or Republican ticket.
