Rosedale Association — Men’s Liberation Cake Sale

The third annual Men’s Liberation Cake Sale managed to liberate a record profit of $257.30 from hundreds of hungry patrons during the Mother’s Day Art Fair. The sale, like the Art Fair, started amid intermittent sprinkles and ended under a fullfledged shower, but .the enthusiasm of the workers was never dampened.

Thanks go to the 20 neighborhood men who sold the cake, to the residents of 6178 Kingsbury who graciously allowed the cake sale to be held in front of their home, and to Mrs. Muellerleile of 6182 Kingsbury who lent the cake sale several kilowats of her electricity for its coffee makers.

And special thanks go to the many people who called their neighbors for donations of cake and other goodies.

Without them there would have been no cakes to sell. The sale was a great financial (and, we hope, gastronomic) success and the money will go .toward the annual budget of RNA.
