The Annual Candlelight Carol Service will be held Sunday, December 15th, 4:30 p.m., at Grace United Methodist Church, Skinker and Waterman Boulevards, Saint Louis, Missouri.
The program combines carols sung singularly by the choirs, two short Christmas cantatas, “The Christmas Story” by Johannes Petzold, sung by the Epworth Choir, and “The Christmas Canata” by Daniel Pinkham, sung by the Grace Choir.
The combined choirs, Grace, Epworth, and Wesley will sing Gustav Holst “Christmas Day.”
The string ensemble will play the “Christmas Concerto” by Giovanni Battista Predieri.
This service is one of the high lights of the church year. The beauty of the church bathed in candlelight, with the frangrance of the Christmas greenery, and the sounds of Christmas in one’s ears, instills in the heart and mind the true spirit of Christmas.
We at Grace, invite our friends and neighbors to enjoy this experience with us.
